The Golden Rules of Nutrition Part 5



Hi there,

I know that some of you out there don't like rules, but take it more as advices on healthy eating habits, ok?

Here are the next five:

  • Drink no more than 1 coffee or black tea per day; switch to herbal teas (camomile, peppermint, green tea, ginger tea, etc) and use fructose or honey if you must
  • Try to eat only seasonal foods such as fruits and vegetables
  • Try to eat always at the same time, your body needs to find an internal rhythm
  • Sleep at least 8 hours per night
  • Try to go to sleep always at the same time and to wake up always at the same time

Why only one coffee or black tea. I have no doubt that there is a good nutritional reason. I am just curious what it is.

The reason is that coffee and black tea are potent diuretics and you might get dihydration

My most difficult challenge, as the mother of five children, is eating at the same time every day. I have to remind myself that I am crabby because I didn't take time to eat lunch.

Well, if you try to eat between 5pm and 7pm every day it will take the stress out od dinner. Please do take time to eat your lunch, it is very important and also healthy.

Well, why don't you try to eat between 5pm amd 7pm every day? It will take the stress out of dinner time. Also, even if you grab a bar or a sandwick do eat every 3/4 hours, it is very important for your health
